Beloved, the Power of God supercedes all other powers of the Earth. Do not be enticed with the Powers of the devil. All Powers belong to God. The Power of God is free for all believers, you don't have to pay money but attention to the Word. Luke 11:13 (KJV) “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”
A person that knows the constitution does not hire a lawyer to defend him/her in the court. If you know the Word, you wouldn't depend on Prayer Contractors, Prophets, Pastors, Spiritual fathers, Mothers etc for intercessions. Many even get scammed by those who proclaim they are men of God. Why are you paying to get God's attention when you should be praying with the Word? Matthew 10:8 (KJV): “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”
The Power of God is free for everyone who craves it. God wants us to crave for His Power. 1 Corinthians 12:31 (KJV)
“But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.”
The HolySpirit is the source, channel and activator of every dimension of God's Power. It is mandatory that one should have the HolySpirit. You need to operate away from flesh. The Spirit of God gives Power, to understand the things of the Spirit (how the Power works) you need to be in Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV):
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
The Journey into the four level of God's Power is deeply Spiritual, prepare your mind or have a renewal of mind. Be mindful of where you belong.
Romans 8:5 (KJV): "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit."
Power is not a single force in Scripture; it unfolds in dimensions.
From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible reveals the progressive manifestation of divine power—strength, might, authority, and dominion.
Both the Hebrew and Greek languages uncover a divine order that shows how God empowers His people to move from natural ability to resurrection power.
1. Koach (כֹּחַ) — Ischys (ἰσχύς)
The Power of Strength — Virtus Naturalis
Scripture References:
Deuteronomy 8:18 — “It is He who gives you power (Koach) to get wealth.”
Luke 10:27 — “You shall love the Lord your God… with all your strength (Ischys).”
At this level, power means potential.
Koach in Hebrew and Ischys in Greek both speak of inner strength, ability, and endurance.
It is the power to think, to create, and to persevere.
God gives every person a measure of Koach—the capacity to act and the energy to fulfill purpose.
Koach is the human capacity that becomes divine when yielded to the Holy Spirit.
It represents the foundational strength that sustains obedience and productivity.
2. Gevurah (גְּבוּרָה) — Dunamis (δύναμις)
The Power of Might — Virtus Operativa
Scripture References:
Psalm 147:5 — “Great is our Lord and abundant in power (Gevurah).”
Acts 1:8 — “You shall receive power (Dunamis) when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.”
Here, power moves from ability to action.
Gevurah means mighty deeds or valor, while Dunamis refers to dynamic, miracle-working power. This is the dimension where God’s Spirit operates through a person to heal, deliver, and transform lives. Dunamis is not mere potential energy—it is active, explosive power.
It is what enabled the prophets to work miracles and what filled the early church with divine boldness. This is the power that performs. It is the Spirit energizing faith to produce visible results.
3. Oz (עֹז) — Exousia (ἐξουσία)
The Power of Authority — Virtus Juridica
Scripture References:
Psalm 29:11 — “The LORD will give strength (Oz) to His people.”
Luke 10:19 — “Behold, I give you authority (Exousia) to tread on serpents and scorpions.”
At this third level, power becomes legal.
Oz refers to enduring strength and confidence, while Exousia means delegated authority or the legal right to act on God’s behalf.
Many possess Dunamis but lack Exousia. Dunamis is energy; Exousia is permission.
Authority gives spiritual jurisdiction—the right to command, decree, and govern in the realm of the spirit. This is where prayer turns to decree, and intercession becomes legislation.
Exousia represents heaven’s endorsement upon your words.
4. Mamlakhah (מַמְלָכָה) — Kratos (κράτος)
The Power of Dominion and Resurrection — Virtus Regalis
Scripture References:
Daniel 7:14 — “And there was given Him dominion (Mamlakhah) and a kingdom.”
Ephesians 1:19–20 — “…according to the working of His mighty power (Kratos) which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead.”
This is the highest realm of divine power—dominion power. Mamlakhah in Hebrew means kingdom or royal dominion. Kratos in Greek means ruling might or reigning power.
Paul connects Kratos with the resurrection of Christ, showing that it is not only the power that raised Jesus from the dead, but also the power that enthroned Him.
It is power that conquers death and establishes eternal rule. Kratos is resurrection power in operation—authority expressed through dominion.
When a believer operates in Kratos, they no longer strive to survive; they reign with Christ.
The believer’s journey is not only about receiving Power, but about growing through its dimensions.
We begin with Koach—natural strength.
We advance to Dunamis—supernatural might.
We rise into Exousia—delegated authority.
And we culminate in Kratos—resurrection dominion. When Paul said, “the same power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you” (Romans 8:11), he referred to Kratos—the power of resurrection and reign.
True spiritual maturity is the movement from ability to authority, and from authority to dominion. Every believer is called not only to operate in power but to walk in the fullness of the risen Christ.
All four levels of divine power—Exousia (Authority), Dunamis (Miracle-working power), Kratos (Dominion power), and Ischus (Inner strength)—function only through the Holy Spirit, who reveals, energizes, and enforces God’s power in the believer. Authority is effective because the Spirit grants the believer the right to stand in Christ (Luke 10:19). Miraculous power, or Dunamis, comes through the Spirit (Acts 1:8), while dominion and ruling power, Kratos, flow from the Spirit who raised Christ from the dead (Ephesians 1:19–20; Romans 8:11). Inner strength, Ischus, is supplied by the Spirit to overcome challenges (Ephesians 3:16). Thus, these powers are not independent forces but manifestations of the Holy Spirit, and without Him, no true spiritual power can be exercised.
Beloved, I'm glad to share this with you, I pray it sow glorious seed in your life and everyone you share it with. A huge weight just left my heart as I share, also re-share that the Kingdom of God be glorified always.
